Nineteen of the Russian's twenty-one victories have been won on hard surfaces
A comeback Daniil Medvedev secured his first trophy for over two years with a win over opponent Moutet in the Almaty Open title decider.
Medvedev, a former number one, has endured a difficult season, achieving just one match at the major tournaments and undergoing a difficult moment at the American major.
His inconsistency on the professional circuit - and difficulties with his serve in especial - led to him exiting of the world's top 10 and eventually separating with long-time trainer Gilles Cervara.
Now training with Johansson and Goetzke, he has gradually improved in the past month - climaxing in a hard-fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 victory over challenger Moutet.
It is the player's maiden trophy after the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hardcourt from that period of 2023.
The win also indicates he has secured twenty-one victories at twenty-one various tournaments.
"This marks the first occasion I have attended a event with my children together, so to win a title is particularly special," said tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This title is in dedication of my younger daughter my daughter, because the maiden victory I achieved when my child Alisa was born was for her."
Medvedev, the former major winner, had been defeated in his previous six title deciders, including in Halle in the past months.
His defensive strategy and regular reactions on court had led some to wonder if his capacity to compete at the top level was concluded.
However the player has implemented adjustments in the past month, striving to advance forward and compete aggressively, backed up by an improved serving game.
He came back from a deficit in the first set against the tricky Frenchman, winning four of the last five exchanges to take the lead.
Both players swapped break points in the middle set before Moutet, attempting for his initial professional victory, took control to push for a final set.
The opponent saved four early-game chances in a tight third set before Medvedev won the break to that score to close out the victory.
Suitably, Medvedev earned the win with a point at the front of the court, with Moutet unable to manage a volley after a lengthy match.
